Hi tim, this ist the best app i have ever seen ! I love it ! I controll my htpc with this. I have only one problem :-). Can you help me ? In the incoming events i need the option "close applikation (or kill application)" in the event mappings.I would like to close an app on my tablet-pc from my home office pc. Thank you ! Bye Thomas

I've tried this on ICS and it does work, however, still with the same limitations. Give us an "autostart" option for the incoming events service, or no timeout, or something to keep it from turning off.

background service keeps shutting off when network disconnects. Please add the ability for the service to auto start when network connected again.

This app is great. I use it to tunnel events from my own Android app to my PC and vice versa. Is there a way to send events including a payload to the phone? In that case the payload is always "withoutRelease".

I ordered, and paid for this TivoRemote app and it was working perfectly. However, I recently had to do a hard reset on my phone, and this app has disappeared. It is no longer in The Market, and I can't get it back on my phone. If it;s lost forever, that would suck, since I already paid my money for it. I emailed the developer, hopefully he gets back to me.

Hi, I'm looking for some app to control my NEXA lamp-controls with and EG seems to be a good one for this (going through TELLUS stick in the computer). I just downloaded EG app to my HTC and it works fine but is there possible to have a picture as background in the layout or is it going to be possible soon?

had bought and installed on my htc slide 3g.... liked it, worked good.
broke my phone, replaced with identical phone and the app store won't let me reinstall it becasue it is supposedly not compatable with my device.

I bought this program a while back and it's been working well. I had to restore factory settings on my phone, when I go to the market for tivoremote market tells me it isn't available in my country (US).

Is this a problem with market, or has this been pulled from the US market?

So you can send magic packets using Llama or Tasker at a given time and or location.
If you want to use Tim's app. you can also set up a macro which can run an application (WOL) on your Android device.
I think that does it all and more?

Thanks alot for this app. The power and potential when combined with Tasker for Android it is quite amazing!

Ok here goes, I use this app with XBMC event receiver for Eventghost to send and receive events to and from my Android devices.
I set up the tablet pc to receive events when actions happen in XBMC for Tasker to run a macro on the tablet (Acer Iconia A 500) which in turn (wakeup2.apk) wakes up the tablet and runs another app (HSTouch for Homeseer) which works like magic. I also set a stuation whereby if I'm running any media on XBMC and my phone happens to ring, XBMC is paused for the duration of the call. Now to make the story shot here is my (or others too) problem. I have my desktop computer on and playing music all the time. And I have Eventghost installed on there too.

So is there a chance you could be even more kind than you already are and make another setting in the : Manage Plugins / Android Events / Configure / Sellect the server to send to:- Default Server, Named Server,....................,
The setting here would be (All Servers) What do you think? Is it possible?

I for one think it would be smashing! You could then send the events to multiple servers and thus mute them all (in my case when phone (Android) rings or off the hook)

I use your APP at home all the time. Thanks!
Now I am moving and I want to rethink my Multimedia installation. I use EG to send IR codes to my consumer electronics. I also have a NetIO (AVR based web server) running which can be controlled by TCP packets. I was wondering wether you could extend (plugin?) your APP to send text in a TCP packet to my NetIO. I could reduce power consumption extremely...
